Support women through acute mental health crises as a Mental Health Support Worker with Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust at the 5‑bed Haven Female PICU, St Ann’s Hospital in Poole. In this caring, hands‑on role you’ll join a friendly multi‑disciplinary team delivering responsive care for women experiencing psychotic and mood disorders, complex trauma and personality disorder. You will provide physical, psychological and social support for patients detained under the Mental Health Act, help keep the ward safe and therapeutic, implement and evaluate co‑produced individual care plans, and lead activities on and off the ward. This permanent, part‑time post (salary £24,937–£26,598 p.a. pro rata) requires shift availability across a seven‑day rota including nights; an Enhanced DBS is required (the Trust pays) and completion of Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression training is a condition of employment. Applicants requiring Skilled Worker sponsorship are ineligible.
