The Eastern Pathology Alliance is formed from three Pathology Laboratories based at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH), the James Paget University Hospital (JPUH) and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kings Lynn (QEH). We have an exciting opportunity for Band 3 biomedical support worker to work in our blood transfusion laboratory at NNUH. We are looking for motivated individual to join our biomedical support worker team to support our blood transfusion laboratory service, and offers full training and development onto the role and opportunities for future development. There is a requirement to participate on a 24/7 shift roster. The post holder will be expected to undertake a variety of tasks in our transfusion laboratory to support the biomedical scientists in testing of blood samples and preparation of blood components for transfusion. This will include operating analysers, entering records onto a variety of IT systems and communicating with external laboratory users.
