As a Bank Senior Healthcare Support Worker in Bristol with NHS Jobs, you will deliver hands-on clinical care under indirect supervision once assessed as competent. Working from delegated care plans and with patient consent, you will use your judgement to carry out varied clinical duties: monitoring blood pressure, oxygen saturations, temperature, pulse and respiration; glucose testing; collecting and testing urine, faecal and sputum samples and wound swabs; and taking part in patient assessment and escalation. You will maintain infection‑prevention and health‑and‑safety standards, keep accurate records and equipment in good order, promote self‑care and health education, and work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high‑quality, patient‑centred care.
