Band 6 Young Adult Worker (part-time) at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, based at the Royal Free Hospital in NW3. You will provide targeted, individual practical, emotional and educational support to young adults (aged 18–30) with chronic kidney disease — including those on dialysis and post-transplant — helping them to develop disease self-management, attend appointments and manage the day-to-day realities of their condition. This is a part-time contract with a salary band of £46,419–£55,046 per annum inclusive of HCAS (pro rata). Closing date: 03 December 2025.

Working alongside another part-time Young Adult Support Worker and the wider multidisciplinary team (medical, nursing and psychology), you will offer level 2 counselling and emotional support, liaise with education, social care and welfare agencies, and collaborate with national services supporting young people with long-term conditions. The role suits compassionate, organised carers — particularly women seeking flexible, values-led NHS work — who want specialist training, clear career pathways and a supportive environment within one of the UK’s largest trusts.
