Full time/part time hours available. We also have sleeping night shifts available, 8pm-8am, 7 days per week. plus day shifts 8am-8pm, 7 days per week. Role Overview: We are offering an opportunity for experienced and dedicated Spinal Injury Support Workers to join our new client in Cardiff, working on a 2:1 ratio. One Support Worker will work a waking night shift, with a second team member on a sleeping night shift. To support their independence and lifestyle, we’re seeking support workers who are confident, empathetic, and capable of building a strong, trusting relationship. Key Responsibilities: Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting) Catheter Care & Bowel Management Respiratory Management (cough assist/suctioning) Autonomic Dysreflexia Management Preparing meals and supporting with nutrition Administering medication (training provided) Providing emotional support and companionship Supporting with mobility and physical activities Light housekeeping duties What We’re Looking For: Previous experience within a similar role, supporting clients with Spinal Injury, catheter care and bowel management A caring and compassionate nature Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team A valid UK driving licence essential to drive the WAV during shifts essential.
