They are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Support and Development Worker to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about empowering young people to develop their independence and reach their full potential. About the Role As a Senior Support and Development Worker, you will: - Provide practical and emotional support to young people within a supported accommodation setting. - Promote independence, personal growth, and life skills development. - Work collaboratively with colleagues, external agencies, and young people to achieve positive outcomes. - Complete reports, maintain accurate records, and ensure safeguarding procedures are always followed. - Occasionally work independently (lone working) and handle challenging situations with professionalism and calmness. About You Our client is looking for someone who is: - Resilient, reliable, and highly motivated. - Able to follow direction while using initiative and creativity in problem-solving. - Flexible, enthusiastic, and able to remain calm under pressure. - An excellent communicator with strong organisational and report-writing skills. Essential Requirements: - NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People or Health and Social Care, or a willingness to work towards this (fully funded by our client). - Previous or similar experience supporting young people in a care or supported accommodation setting. - Proven experience of lone working. - Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
