Support Worker at Riverside, Bolton House (Bolton) — permanent, full-time (37.5 hours). Working pattern is Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm with some flexibility, and the role pays £26,549.63 (rising to £27,722.51 after 18 months’ successful performance). You will be based in one of Riverside’s supported services helping people rebuild their lives: linking customers with employability coaches and partner agencies, supporting money management and benefits applications, helping clients move on to more permanent homes, and keeping accurate records. The work is hands-on and at times demanding, so resilience, strong boundaries and compassionate, practical support are essential; there is administrative responsibility alongside direct support.
This role is well suited to experienced carers and those with a caring, team-minded approach — including people with lived experience of homelessness or addiction who want to use that insight to help others.
