Typical Shifts are: Days 7am–7pm & Nights 7pm–7am, Pay: Monday-Friday days and waking nights: £14.18/hr Weekend days and waking nights: £16.44/hr Travel allowance available (eligibility applies) What You’ll Get Ongoing training and support 5.6 weeks holiday (pro rata) Pension (subject to qualifying status) Free DBS check Induction and Care Certificate training Regular supervision and support from my Case Manager and HR team Hi, I’m Patrick. I’m looking for a kind, reliable, and enthusiastic Support Worker to join my care team in Gosport. I’m a friendly, talkative guy with a great sense of humour, and I’d like to find someone who shares my interests—especially if you’re into karate, enjoy a bit of shopping, or just like good conversation. I live at home with my wife and our lovely Beagle. I’ve been part of my local karate club for over 45 years and still attend regularly. In 2, I had a brain injury following a road traffic accident, and since then, I’ve needed a bit of extra support to live life to the fullest. The Role You’ll be joining a small, committed team providing 24-hour support. I need help with personal care, everyday household tasks, and getting out and about in the community. I use a Zimmer frame indoors and a wheelchair outdoors, so it’s important that you’re confident with mobility support and using a wheelchair-adapted vehicle (WAV). I enjoy getting out for tea and cake, and I love going on holidays, so being part of those moments is a big part of the role. Requirements Driver? Yes, essential Drive my WAV?
