Make a real difference to women’s health as a Clinical Support Worker at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Luton. You’ll join Ward 34, a small 17‑bed gynaecology unit, supporting nurses to care for patients with early pregnancy issues, termination of pregnancy, post‑operative recovery and cancer care. Day‑to‑day duties include assisting with admissions, bathing, toileting, monitoring observations and escorting patients, with the opportunity to carry out planned tasks once trained and assessed. This part‑time post offers a competitive NHS salary band (£24,937–£26,598 pro rata), shift variety including long days, twilight, nights, weekends and bank holidays, and a six‑month probationary period.
