Be a trusted lunchtime PA/Support Worker for a warm, witty woman in her late 80s in Eastbourne. This part‑time, on‑site permanent role pays £12.21 per hour and involves two‑hour calls over lunch on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday (approximately 6 hours a week). You will work alongside existing agency carers to provide personal care, medication prompting/administration, food preparation and eating support, light moving and handling and some clinical tasks, plus companionship and pet care for a friendly cat. The role also includes helping with dressing, bathroom assistance, encouraging short walks, supporting confidence on stairs and listening for choking risks at mealtimes. This position is for a female PA (gender exemption applies) and requires a driving licence and your own vehicle.

This role will suit patient, discreet women carers who enjoy building meaningful relationships and have experience with older people and long‑term health needs such as diabetes, stroke damage and macular degeneration. You should be reliable, hygienic and organised, able to follow instructions and use your initiative, comfortable around pets and willing to work safely to a high standard; a non‑smoker is preferred.
