We have an opportunity to work as a Band 7 Occupational Therapist within our Surgery, oncology and critical Care team at RSH. The post covers our General Surgical wards, Gastroenterology ward and our Oncology ward at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. The Therapy team includes Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Therapy support workers including band 4s. The post holder will provide specialist Occupational Therapy treatment to patients within our Surgical and Gastroenterology Wards and this may include complex patients such as amputees. The post holder may also work clinically on the Oncology ward, holding a complex caseload which may include Fast track patients and those with malignant spinal cord compression. As Clinical Lead the post holder will be responsible for clinical leadership and support to the team in the form of appraisal and supervision.
