Job description
Day-to-day you’ll support community access and independence — accompanying to clubs, shopping, light domestic cooking, household chores, gentle walks (great if you like dogs) and encouragement to attend groups and make friends. You’ll help with healthy eating, light exercise for weight loss, and supporting physical and mental safety. The client loves dogs and is a passionate Newcastle United fan, so companionship and patience matter as much as practical skills. Essential requirements include understanding autism, completed or willingness to complete PA Guide, Safeguarding, Understanding Challenging Behaviour, Food Hygiene and Autism/Aspergers training, plus a full UK driving licence and use of your own car.
