Make a measurable difference to children’s health across Walsall as a Clinical Support Worker in School Nursing. This hands-on, community-facing role sees you visiting schools to weigh and measure children as part of the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP), supporting Senior Nursery Nurses and community staff nurses in parenting and children’s intervention groups, and assisting in assessment clinic sessions. You will respond to routine telephone queries, offer appropriate non-clinical advice and signposting, prepare NCMP documentation (including consent forms), input measurements and clinic information onto databases, welcome and direct visitors, and provide general administrative support such as appointments, filing and handling post. The role calls for good judgement, tact and discretion, the ability to plan, organise and prioritise your own workload while taking direction from senior staff, and the confidence to demonstrate tasks to new or bank staff and students; professional use of email and standard office systems is required.
Advertised by NHS Jobs and based in Walsall (WS3 1ET), this permanent full-time post pays £24,465 per annum (job reference C9407-25-0397) and was posted on 05 November 2025 with a closing date of 17 November 2025.
