Support Worker – Deaf Community Services in Blackburn supporting d/Deaf adults with mental health needs inside a new five‑bed step‑down community setting. This permanent, full‑time role (42 hours per week) works across a mixed shift pattern of 3–4 x 12‑hour shifts and centres on delivering hands‑on care, welfare and safeguarding while empowering service users to progress towards independent living. You will work closely with the multi‑disciplinary team at Cygnet Bury Dunes, assist with medical and daily living needs, report on welfare, and use British Sign Language (native BSL or Signature Level 2 minimum) to communicate effectively with profoundly, severely or partially deaf people.
