We’re looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join our team, helping a young adult with high-functioning autism thrive and grow towards independence. What We’re Looking For: Driver with access to a car – essential for travel in and around Altrincham (you must live within 15 minutes of the area) Experience with Autism – you understand the challenges and strengths that come with autism, and how to offer meaningful support Strong communication skills – English must be your first language due to communication needs Engaging and outgoing personality – we need someone who’s warm, approachable, and not afraid to take initiative with lots of energy and enthusiasm Your Role Will Involve: Supporting a young adult to build social connections and engage in community activities Encouraging and enabling them to develop independence and confidence Being a positive presence, a role model, and a trusted companion What You’ll Get: Salary: £13.40ph weekdays, £14.40ph weekends Guaranteed Hours After Probation: Once you've passed probation, we can guarantee up to 50% of the hours you commit to working each week Enhanced bank holiday pay Mileage paid 30p per mile 28 days of holiday (pro rata) Paid data allowance for phone use Extensive training and induction. Funded access to Health & Social Care L2.
