Join our team to provide vital, culturally sensitive support to a client whose first language is Turkish. Your language skills are essential for building trust and delivering high-quality, tailored care. Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Night Shift: Fridays 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Note: Fluency in Turkish is a genuine occupational requirement for this role under the Equality Act 2. About the Opportunity We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist an individual with a Brain Injury in their day-to-day life. You will play a crucial role in promoting independence, providing essential support, and offering companionship in a positive environment. What You'll Be Doing: Communication & Support: Utilising your Turkish fluency to support all daily routines and personal tasks, ensuring clear understanding and emotional support. Independence Building: Encouraging and assisting the client in developing essential life skills and increasing independence. Companionship: Offering friendly and consistent emotional support. Record Keeping: Maintaining clear, accurate records of care provided and sharing updates with the multidisciplinary team. What We're Looking For We value compassion, experience, and exceptional communication skills: Essential: Fluent in Turkish (written and verbal). Experience in supporting individuals with brain injuries (Mandatory). Compassion, patience, and a positive, encouraging attitude. Great communication skills and the ability to quickly build rapport and trust. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a supportive team.
