Essential for this job: Experience of working with people who have a history of substance misuse, and some knowledge of Autism would be beneficial. Tommy has a team of people working with him currently, but he needs a Senior Support Worker to assist the team leader and the team, when necessary. Someone who can be a leader when called upon. You might be someone who already has some leadership experience or someone looking to develop their leadership skills. Wherever you are in your career just now, we need you to be someone who will show some resilience. In return we will continue to develop you, we offer full training and reflective support and supervision and training that will support you to become the best version of yourself so that you can support Tommy to be the best version of himself. As part of the team, you will need to have flexibility. You will receive specific to the team training; you must use all of your skills to develop a positive relationship with Tommy. He needs time to build up a trusting relationship, but if you are the right person, you will get there and excel.
