These roles involve direct, face to face patient care to patients with complex care needs. This advert is for Full Time Position in our Rehab service which is a 24 hour service. Guidance on if this post will be eligible for a sponsorship can be found here Skilled Worker visa: If you work in healthcare or education - GOV.UK The Clinical Support Worker in the hospital Division will be required to participate and assist in the delivery of care for service users within the inpatient adult mental health rehabilitation services. Working as a member of the ward/nursing team, to actively support patients with their care, assessment and needs. To take part in the assessment of care needs, as well as the development, implementation and evaluation of care plans and risk assessments, with supervision and in line with the patient centred approach to care and Trust policies and procedures. You will be required to engage patients in ward-based activities and support them with community-based activities. You will be required to actively support patients with their activities of daily living and creating their weekly activity planners with them . You will be required to co facilitate/facilitate activities on the ward. It would be desirable to have experience in a rehabilitation setting and have the relevant skills required to support patients towards their rehabilitation recovery. You will be expected to undertake day and night shifts across a 7 day working pattern and be required to complete training on the prevention of management and violence (PMVA) and basic life support (BLS).
