To work within the multidisciplinary team and utilize effective communication to promote excellent patient care. To help patients meet their hygiene and nutritional needs Help escort patients safely throughout the hospital to different locations Help maintain ward IPC standards Maintain training compliance. It provides inpatient and outpatient services at the Manor Hospital as well as a wide range of services in the community. Walsall Manor houses the full range of district general hospital services under one roof. The £170 million development was completed in 2, and ongoing upgrades ensure the Trust now has state-of-the-art facilities, including a Critical Care Unit, Neonatal Unit, Obstetric Theatre, and Integrated Assessment Unit. A new Urgent and Emergency Care Centre, opened in March 2023, has significantly improved emergency care facilities and capacity, providing almost 5,000 square metres of additional clinical space. · To provide the highest standard of nursing care for patients under supervision of a registered nurse. · To carry out assigned tasks including direct care and indirect care as delegated by the nursing team. · Demonstrate effective communication skills both verbal and non verbal. · Demonstrate high standards in record keeping. · Support registered nursing staff with clinical treatments and investigations as appropriate, to the level of knowledge and skill. · Escort of patients to other departments within the hospital. Ensuring patient safety & dignity is maintained. · Chaperone Patients, during clinical examinations as and when required, ensuring the patient’s privacy and dignity is maintained throughout. · Adherence to Trust Infection Control Policies This advert closes on Friday 7 Nov 2025
