Floating Support Worker Job details Posting date: 13 October 2025 Salary: £14 to £15 per hour Hours: Full time Closing date: 12 November 2025 Location: Cheshire East, Cheshire, CW12 3DE Remote working: On-site only Company: Morgan Hunt UK Ltd Job type: Temporary Job reference: JN -_176Apply for this job Summary Floating Support Worker Cheshire East Temporary Full time hours £14.00 - £15.00 per hour Our client Morgan Hunt are working with a number of housing providers that provide specialist supported housing for vulnerable people including those experiencing homelessness, offending history, addiction and severe and enduring mental health. You'll provide tailored, flexible support to people in their own homes, temporary accommodation, or community settings, helping them to build resilience, develop independent living skills, and sustain safe housing. The role - Floating Support Worker As a Floating Support Worker, you are responsible for; · Providing person-centred, outcome-focused support to a caseload of service users. · Working with individuals to develop support plans, identifying goals around housing, health, wellbeing, and independence. · Assisting people in accessing housing services, benefits, healthcare, and community resources. · Advocating on behalf of clients with external agencies and service providers. · Supporting clients to manage tenancies, reduce risk of eviction, and prevent repeat homelessness. · Maintaining accurate case records and ensure compliance with safeguarding and organisational policies. · Promoting empowerment, choice, and inclusion at every stage of support. The candidate · Experience working with vulnerable adults, ideally within homelessness, housing, or support services. · Strong understanding of the challenges faced by people experiencing homelessness (e.g. substance misuse, mental health, offending history). · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and positive relationships. · A proactive, flexible approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. · Good organisational skills and confidence in keeping accurate records. · A commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion. · A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable, depending on area). · An Enhanced DBS on the update service is required for this role or a willingness to complete a DBS application if you haven't already got For more information, please contact Annabelle on .
