Tracy cared for her own mum who had a rare type of Alzheimer's, and was the reason for opening her own agency after experiencing the care her mum received until Tracy took over the care of her mum until she sadly passed away in 2. We treat all our clients as we would like our own family to be treated, with care, dignity and respect along with a care plan that is person centred to their needs and wishes. We support clients that have any type of Dementia, End of Life, Physical Disability, that need to be Peg Fed, Colostomy bags, Catheter Care, palliative care. We also support our clients to access the community, this could be to go to church, activity clubs, out to lunch/coffee, shopping, light housework duties and companionship. No two days are the same. We are growing and would like new members to join our friendly team. What does this Support Worker job involve? Hours of Work:Variable Hours Contract - Hours available between 07:00 - 21:00 Our duties can vary depending on the client we go out to. These may include: • Personal care • Administering oral medication • Prepping of meals and drinks • Incontinence care • Companionship • Respite breaks for the main family carer to go out for a couple of hours • Light housework • Access the community for appointments, clubs, church,or just going out for coffee. • We have a duty of care to ensure that all our clients are safe in their homes and report any concerns to enable the client to get the right support.
