As a Support Worker with Riverside based at Eden Rural Foyer in Penrith, you’ll work on a fixed-term contract to 31 March 2026, 24 hours per week on a seven-day rota that includes weekends and bank holidays. The role pays £26,549.63 pro rata (rising to £27,722.51 after 18 months’ successful performance) and involves helping people rebuild their lives by connecting them with employability coaches and support agencies, supporting money and benefits management, and assisting moves into more permanent homes. You’ll keep clear records and complete essential admin, work sensitively and resiliently with people who have complex needs, and at times may work alone — the role is challenging but offers deeply rewarding outcomes for those who care about making a real difference.
