Support a vibrant 34‑year‑old woman in Worthing as an Overnight Respite Support Worker/PA (Ref: DP7407) — a permanent, part‑time role paying £12.50 per hour. This post is for a female applicant under the Equality Act exemption and involves overnight respite shifts where you’ll be a calm, friendly presence during her usual routines. She loves music, dancing, singing, swimming, Zumba, social afternoons with friends, and the odd wrestling event, and she adores her cat, Princess. Duties include companionship, transportation (full driving licence and own vehicle required), keeping her safe in the community, gentle prompts with personal care, supporting healthy food choices, and joining in social activities; occasional sleepovers at your home or supporting her while her mum has a break may also be needed. You’ll be based with Independent Lives in Worthing, West Sussex, with a closing date of 05 December 2025 and the role may be offered on an employed or self‑employed basis.

This position suits warm, reliable women carers who are down‑to‑earth, patient, creative and happy to be active and sociable while celebrating someone’s independence. You must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS check; the employer is a Disability Confident member and will treat applications fairly. If you enjoy making everyday moments joyful, keeping people safe and supporting choice with kindness, this is a lovely chance to make a real difference.
