Senior Specialist Dietitian for Oncology and Surgery — NHS Jobs, Weston-super-Mare. Lead a highly specialist clinical service for oncology outpatients and surgical inpatients, delivering complex nutritional care including oral, enteral and parenteral support, therapeutic diets and dietitian-led clinics (face-to-face, telephone and virtual). You will work independently within oncology and surgical MDTs, attend ward rounds, contribute to audits and research, and provide expert advice on ACBS products, vitamins and enzyme therapy where competent. The role requires advanced communication and motivational interviewing skills to support patients and carers through distressing stages of care, plus the ability to plan workloads, manage cross-cover and ensure safe, effective pathway delivery across hospital and community interfaces.
