An exciting opportunity has a risen for 2 Band 3 Clinical Support Worker posts to work within our team in the Main Outpatient Department at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust. A 32hrs per week and a 24hrs per week We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team. Providing high quality, compassionate, patient focused care within the Main Out Patient Department at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary It would be desirable if you possessed an NVQ 2/3 in Health & Social Care. Previous experience in an outpatient or clinical setting is an advantage. Working under supervision, you will be required to work flexibly within the team to support clinical service delivery within the department. You must possess excellent communication, IT and customer care skills and demonstrate an ability to work both independently and as part of the wider team. We operate from three main hospitals-Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), and Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal, as well as a number of community healthcare premises including Millom Hospital and GP Practice, Queen Victoria Hospital in Morecambe, and Ulverston Community Health Centre. FGH and the RLI have a range of General Hospital services, with full Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units and various Consultant-led services. WGH provides a range of General Hospital services, together with an Urgent Treatment Centre, that can help with a range of non-life threatening conditions such as broken bones and minor illnesses. All three main hospitals provide a range of planned care including outpatients, diagnostics, therapies, day case and inpatient surgery.
