Nacro is recruiting Housing Support Workers for its CAS-2 service based in Lancaster, covering Lancashire. This full‑time, permanent role (£26,584 pa — base £25,584 plus £1,000 unsocial hours) offers 40 hours a week with rolling shift patterns between 08:00–22:00 Monday–Friday and Saturday 09:00–17:00. You will support people eligible for home detention curfew, on bail or leaving prison, helping them secure and sustain accommodation, complete Housing Benefit and rent processes, and develop safety and resettlement plans. Day‑to‑day duties also include property checks to the Decent Homes Standard, liaison with probation, courts and housing authorities, and record‑keeping using standard IT systems. The role is on‑site, requires an enhanced DBS and prison clearance, a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle (mileage paid at 45p per mile), and the right to work in the UK; lived experience of the criminal justice system is welcome and a criminal record will not automatically rule you out.
