Mencap in Croxteth, Liverpool is recruiting Support Workers to provide practical and emotional care to adults with learning disabilities. The role pays £12.21 per hour on a permanent contract, with full‑time and part‑time options available. You’ll support people with daily living tasks, build trusting relationships and adapt support to individual needs across a 24‑hour service — shifts include daytime windows (08:00–22:00, covering 08:00–10:00 and 10:00–22:00), evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Rotas are published at least four weeks in advance so you can plan family life or other caring responsibilities; sleep‑in shifts carry an enhanced flat rate of £63.70. All appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS and suitable references.
