Provide compassionate, hands-on care as a Senior Healthcare Support Worker at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, based in York (YO31). This permanent, part‑time position (salary £24,937–£26,598 per annum, pro rata) is ideal for experienced Band 2 or Band 3 healthcare support workers who communicate well, work confidently in teams and adapt to changing clinical needs. You will assist registered practitioners by carrying out delegated clinical tasks — observations, cannulation and venepuncture, simple wound dressings and support with diagnostic procedures — while offering pastoral support to new starters and using your initiative within your competence. A probationary period requires completion of relevant training and OSCEs to demonstrate competence; please note interviews will be held in person only.
