As a Nursing Associate based in Plymouth (PL4), you will manage a defined caseload of patients under the indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse, delivering compassionate, evidence‑based care within the Nursing Associate scope of practice. This full‑time, permanent role (salary £27,485–£30,162) involves undertaking delegated clinical tasks—including medicines administration where competent—keeping accurate eRecord documentation, recognising and escalating changes in patient condition, contributing to care planning and audits, and working to professional and legal frameworks such as the NMC Code and the Mental Capacity Act. You will also be responsible for safe use of equipment, prioritising workloads, and taking part in quality and service development activity that improves outcomes for individuals and communities.

This role is ideal for experienced carers, band 2/3 staff ready to step up, or qualified Nursing Associates who enjoy hands‑on care combined with leadership and teaching. You’ll supervise and develop junior team members and students, deliver training, support safeguarding and advocacy, and be part of a learning culture that values empathy, respect and diversity.
