This Band 5 Dietitian post at York Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, based at York Hospital (YO31), is a full‑time, permanent role offering a salary of £31,049–£37,796 per annum. You will work across inpatient and outpatient services — including clinics and group education — with rotational experience in General Medicine, General Surgery, Stroke, Gastroenterology, Diabetes and Renal Medicine. The department prioritises clinical supervision, peer support and professional development across the Four Pillars of Practice; newly qualified dietitians in their first year are supported through a dedicated Preceptorship programme. You’ll work alongside experienced Dietitians, Band 5 colleagues, Dietetic Support Workers and Assistant Practitioners to deliver high‑quality patient care in a friendly, team‑focused environment.
