Do you have experience in children's residential care and want to grow your career in a therapeutic, nurturing environment? We're working with a highly respected provider of therapeutic residential care, looking for a Senior Support Worker to join their dedicated team in a small, child-focused home in Chippenham. ABOUT THE ROLE As Senior Support Worker, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the home. You'll lead by example, support junior staff, and help create a safe, supportive, and healing space for children who've experienced trauma. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR At least 1 year's experience in a residential children's home Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards) A solid understanding of therapeutic and trauma-informed care Confident leadership and communication skills A caring, patient, and resilient approach Full UK Driving Licence Enhanced DBS and suitable references KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Support the team in delivering high-quality, consistent care Help implement care plans and behaviour support strategies Act as a role model for therapeutic practice and positive routines Encourage young people's emotional and social development Assist with rota planning, team development, and safeguarding Contribute to maintaining compliance with care standards WHAT'S ON OFFER £32,000 salary Full therapeutic training and ongoing professional development A supportive, trauma-informed team culture Clear path for career progression An opportunity to genuinely change young lives READY TO FIND OUT MORE?
