Provide expert critical care outreach across Reading and the wider Trust, managing a dynamic caseload to deliver evidence‑based, holistic and patient‑centred nursing. You will work closely with ward and community teams to identify learning needs, mentor junior colleagues, students and support workers, and help shape service development by involving patients in decisions about their care. Excellent two‑way communication, the confidence to challenge when patients’ rights may be at risk, and practice in line with NMC professional, ethical and legal standards and Trust protocols are essential. Accountability for your own practice and for delegated care is a key part of the role.
