Bring your compassion and practical care skills to Cygnet Hospital Derby as a Support Worker, permanent full‑time based in DE24. You’ll work a structured rota (two weeks day shifts 7.30am–8.00pm and two weeks night shifts 7.30pm–8.00am; rota example: week 1 = 33 hours, week 2 = 44 hours) averaging 38.5 hours per week. Pay is £13.21–£13.33 per hour. You’ll support people across low secure and mental health rehabilitation services — including Litchurch Ward, the Wyvern Unit and Alvaston Ward (a specialist female personality disorder service) — providing practical and emotional support, assisting with medical and welfare needs, reporting concerns, safeguarding and helping people learn skills for greater independence.
