If so, we'd love to hear from you. ----------------------------- We are looking for fun, active support workers to join our team based in Kenton, to support 4 amazing people who live in their own supported living bungalows. We support 3 gentlemen and 1 lady who all have learning disabilities and autism and we are supporting them to live independently, enjoy activities, hobbies and achieve any goals they have in life. What do they like doing? - Spending time wit family and friends - Thrill seekers, so enjoy fair grounds, video games - Shopping - Being creative, arts and crafts - Bike riding - TV - any type of Drama programme or Crime series, especially Police interceptors - Music and dancing You will also need to provide emotional reassurance when experiencing behaviours of distress - full positive behaviour support training is provided but previous experience is essential. What will I be doing? - They're looking for fun and active people to join their team and support them to live their lives how they choose, to be themselves and to achieve their goals - They would also like support with their personal care (varying degrees of independence), medication, food shopping and domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry What shifts are required: Day shifts are typically 8am - 10pm Waking nights are typically 10pm - 8am We're looking for people with flexibility to work on a rota basis that includes a combination of shifts, weekdays and weekends Rotas are provided at least 4 weeks in advance to support a healthy work life balance - something we're very passionate about!
