Our client is a young male who has a brain injury, dystonia and epilepsy. He is PEG fed and requires suctioning, so experience and/or prior knowledge and training for these are ideal, however training can be provided. Previous experience supporting young children is essential. Hours available: 9pm – 7.30am, 7 nights per week. Pay: £19 per hour. Key Responsibilities: Monitoring client’s condition through the night Delivering personalised care routines. Administering medication. Providing emotional support and companionship. Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients’ conditions. Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care. Requirements: Paediatric experience, preferably in a similar role working with brain injuries, PEG, epilepsy and dystonia. Relevant qualifications in health and social care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
