Senior Support Worker at The Lodge in Langport — a detached, homely setting surrounded by Somerset countryside. This permanent position is available full-time, part-time or on a bank contract with contracted hours from 24–48 and typical weekly patterns of 36.75–49 hours; shifts include days (07:00–19:15) and nights (19:00–07:15). Pay is £13.21 per hour with an extra £2 per hour for overtime, plus pension, paid breaks, onsite parking and 5.6 weeks annual leave (FTE). You will lead and coordinate shifts, support residents with personal care, mobility and dignity, manage medication and accurate records, welcome visitors and engage with families and health professionals, and respond to emergencies while maintaining a safe, positive atmosphere.

This role is ideal for experienced carers who hold an SVQ/NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care and demonstrate practical medication competencies, leadership and a genuinely compassionate approach.
