Help keep Stepping Hill Hospital safe and welcoming as a Domestic Assistant with Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. This permanent, full‑time Band 2 role (37.5 hours per week) is based at Stepping Hill Hospital, SK2, and involves routine and deep cleaning, decontamination and patient‑facing work across wards, theatres, the Emergency Department and non‑clinical areas. You’ll work as part of a 204‑strong domestic team using modern cleaning equipment and materials, following national cleaning standards and infection‑control procedures, and using the correct PPE for barrier nursing and infection‑related tasks. The post pays £24,465 pro rata; please note it is not eligible for UK Health and Care Worker visa sponsorship, so applicants must already have the right to work in the UK. If appointed you will need a standard DBS (the £26.90 check will be deducted from your first pay and you will be asked to join the DBS update service with an annual subscription of £16).
