Job summary
The hours for this role 6.25 hours per week on average for the below shift pattern:Every other Saturday 08:30-17:00 & Sunday 08:30-13:00.The role holder will provide a support function within the clinical services team and may directly supervise other team members. The role holder will be required to organise their own workload following regular weekly activities alongside tasks which require more planning and prioritising, and which may involve an element of project work and/or coordinating activities involving a number of people. The role holder will be expected to spend a significant element of the role in providing tailored advice, guidance and support to service users, interpreting written information and using their judgement to work out appropriate solutions to issues encountered.You'll really stand out if you have

Main duties of the job
You will work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of GP Care Wakefield clinics, acting as the link between the delivery team and the management team. You will use your excellent communication and relationship-building skills and will be the first point of contact for the team on shift, escalating issues to the on-call manager, where needed.Working with the reception team, you will ensure effective utilisation of the service; by monitoring available clinical capacity and supporting any team members who are under pressure. You will also work closely with partners such as Local Care Direct (LCD), NHS 111 and Mid Yorkshire Hospital Trust (MYHT) to provide patients in the district with a safe and high-quality urgent care service.You will supervise the reception team on duty, support the induction of new workers and provide training when new processes are introduced. As a highly motivated individual the shift coordinator will have excellent organisational skills, be able to work under pressure and adapt quickly to ensure service continuity and responsiveness.This role will be perfect for someone who has
