As a Physiotherapy Support Worker at University Hospitals Sussex (Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton BN2 5BE) you’ll deliver high-quality inpatient physiotherapy assessment, treatment and evaluation across wards. This Band 3, permanent role (salary £24,937–£26,598 pro rata) involves working with adults and children with orthopaedic, elderly rehabilitation, amputee and neurological needs. Day-to-day you’ll lead exercise and mobility programmes, advise patients and carers, maintain accurate records, collect outcome data and support multidisciplinary care. You will work both independently and alongside qualified physiotherapists, handle sensitive or distressing situations with empathy, and follow agreed protocols. Essential requirements include a Level 3 physiotherapy/healthcare qualification or equivalent experience and at least six months’ clinical NHS/healthcare experience. A DBS check is required and applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.
