An exciting opportunity has arisen
for a counselling/clinical psychologist to join our CAMHS Learning Disability team
in Herefordshire and Worcestershire. The successful applicant will deliver
evidence-based clinical work via time-boundaried psychological interventions across
Worcestershire.

You will have a proven record of
delivering evidence-based therapeutic work, with a record of working
compassionately & collaboratively. No two days will be the same so
flexibility, problem solving skills and a desire to make a difference are all
vital for this role.









You will provide clinical
supervision/mentorship to junior members of the Team and in turn will receive support
from the most senior psychology leads in the Trust.

This is a part time role working 25 hours per week.





Main duties of the job


As a senior clinician, you will have a strong background working with young
people with mental health challenges and will be comfortable delivering
interventions that meet the needs of those with learning disabilities.

You will be an autonomous practitioner, with strong time management
skills and the ability to manage the ebb and flow that comes with
community-based mental health work. You will hold your own caseload and be able
to proactively manage this, working collaboratively within CAMHS and across
multiple agencies.

You will work closely with the CAMHS LD team and actively engage with
MDTs, clinical case discussions and risk formulations.

You will sympathetically and efficiently manage escalations and will
keep patient, family and staff wellbeing at the heart of what you do.
