As a Bank Radiographer at Nuffield Health North Staffordshire Hospital (Clayton Road, Stoke-on-Trent ST5 4DB) you’ll deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging across a varied caseload in the imaging department, on the wards and in theatre. This part-time, bank role pays up to £20 per hour depending on experience and offers true flexibility — you’re not tied to fixed hours so the job can fit around family or caring commitments. You’ll work with state-of-the-art CT, MRI and diagnostic equipment, support junior colleagues, help scope and develop local policies and always treat patients with sensitivity and compassion. Applicants must hold a BSc in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), be HCPC-registered with current UK registration and will be subject to a DBS check; a postgraduate qualification and strong teamworking skills are desirable.

This role suits skilled, caring radiographers who want hands-on clinical work in a supportive, training-focused environment that understands the realities of juggling work and care. Nuffield Health’s purpose-built hospital offers free staff parking, holiday in line with the Working Time Directive, access to a pension scheme and a discounted gym membership, with opportunities to learn from leading practitioners and try new practices and equipment.
