An experienced Medical Secretary / PA is sought to provide full secretarial and administrative support to consultant teams within Clinical Support and Specialist Surgery at The Christie, based at Surgery E00350, Manchester M20 4BX. This permanent, full‑time Band 4 post (Agenda for Change) pays £27,485–£30,162 per annum pro rata and includes responsibilities such as triaging new referrals, booking clinics and admissions, coordinating MDTs, managing investigations and results, typing clinical correspondence, maintaining accurate case notes and using PAS/Medway to keep patient pathways moving. This role is ideal for someone with medical secretarial experience, strong audio/copy typing skills, GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths, and a sound knowledge of medical terminology.
