As a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) at Chilcote Surgery in Torquay (Hampton Avenue, TQ1), you’ll work as part of a friendly multi‑disciplinary team supporting practice nurses and clinicians to deliver hands‑on patient care. The role covers clinical tasks within your scope — vaccinations, venepuncture, wound care and removal of sutures, basic observations (BP, pulse, height, weight, BMI), specimen handling, chaperoning and assisting during minor procedures — alongside helping with health promotion, long‑term condition support and occasional administrative duties.
