Lead and shape the Pharmacy Stores & Distribution team at Milton Keynes University Hospital, running daily pharmacy stores and messenger services to deliver safe, timely medicines across the Trust and to external partners. You’ll ensure stock control and distribution comply with MHRA Good Distribution Practice, manage ward top‑ups, handle recalls and supply shortfalls, and work closely with pharmacy, nursing and procurement colleagues to support patient care. This permanent Band 5 role (salary £31,049–£37,796) is full‑time at 37.5 hours per week with weekend and Bank Holiday commitments; all MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working. Essential requirements include GPhC registration as a Pharmacy Technician, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and hospital pharmacy experience, proficiency with CMM/JAC systems, knowledge of cytotoxic handling and supply chain/inventory principles, plus the ability to stand for periods and manage moderate lifting.
