Job summary
The Care Navigator acts as the first point of contact for patients and visitors at our busy GP practice, delivering a high-quality reception service and providing essential support to the wider Practice team, working closely with GPs and other clinicians. This role is well suited to someone with strong communication skills, keen attention to detail and the ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment.This is afull-timerole (37.5 hours per week).Please note we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this post, so applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.Key responsibilities include:Welcoming, signposting and supporting patients in a professional, warm and approachable manner.Using the appointments system to book, amend and cancel appointments, ensuring all patient information is recorded accurately.Acting as the primary point of contact for patients, managing enquiries and communications efficiently (in person, by phone and online).Liaising effectively with the multi-professional team and external services, including secondary care providers.Confidently using Docman and EMIS Web clinical systems in line with Practice protocols.
