Care for newborns and support families in the Transitional Care area of the Postnatal Ward at Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust in Guildford (GU2). This permanent, part‑time role (18.75 hours/0.5 WTE) sees you working alongside midwives and the neonatal nurse practitioner to deliver hands‑on, family‑centred care to babies who need additional support. Key duties include monitoring babies and mothers, reporting changes promptly, assisting with discharge planning, maintaining high standards of infection control and dignity, and contributing to teaching, audits and service improvement. The post is Band 4 (pro rata £28,860–£31,671 inclusive of HCAS), requires an Enhanced Disclosure check, and applicants need recent hospital experience caring for babies or children; a maternity or nursery qualification is desirable but full training is provided. Please note this part‑time role is not eligible for sponsorship.
