Cleaning Services Assistant at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NG5) – a hands‑on, team-based role caring for clinical and non‑clinical areas to the National Specifications for Cleanliness. You will clean wards and departments, use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely in line with COSHH and Trust health and safety guidance, and work to established rotas with occasional cover between City Hospital, Queen’s Medical Centre, Treatment Centre or Ropewalk House. The role also includes stores duties: placing and checking orders, receiving and storing deliveries, preparing and delivering stock to wards, reporting equipment faults and keeping store areas tidy and secure. This permanent, part‑time post is Band 2 (Agenda for Change) at £24,465 per annum pro rata and requires a DBS check; basic IT skills, NVQ Level 1/2 in Cleaning and Support Services (or willingness to train) and knowledge of manual handling and stock control are desirable.
