Lead the next phase of an important Low‑Intensity, trauma‑focused CBT study for children and young people at Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust in Durham (Lanchester Road Hospital, DH1 5RD). This fixed‑term, part‑time Band 7 post (salary £47,810–£54,710 pro‑rata) asks for a doctoral‑level applied psychologist with HCPC registration and research experience to provide clinical expertise, lead a multi‑stakeholder advisory group, co‑produce the Low‑Intensity TF‑CBT manual, develop teaching and supervision resources, support trial delivery, and carry out both qualitative and quantitative analysis. You will also mentor assistant psychologists and help prepare an NIHR funding application — a rare chance to combine patient‑facing practice, research leadership and tangible service development for children and families.
This role suits practical, caring professionals — particularly those balancing work with family and caring responsibilities — who want meaningful, flexible hours and the scope to influence practice across a large regional trust. Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust is known for close community links and collaborative teams, and this vacancy is advertised on jobsincare.com where you can find full details.
