Support and shape diagnostic services across the East of England as Network Business Support Manager with East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust, based in Colchester (CO4). This fixed-term role (to 31 March 2026) sits within the expanded Diagnostic Network covering Pathology and Physiological Sciences (with option to support one or both areas). You’ll be part of a collaborative, predominantly remote team with hot‑desking available at Trust sites, and there are flexible working patterns including full- or part-time, job-share and home working. The post is band 8b (£64,455–£74,896 pro rata) and is suited to professionals with a background in transformation or project delivery, a master’s-level qualification or equivalent experience, and experience of delivering complex business cases and strategic plans. Internal applicants will be considered on secondment only.

You will lead and manage a portfolio of projects that deliver clinical, digital, procurement and cost‑efficiency improvements, translate national policy into local action and present progress at network and board-level events. This is an ideal role for experienced managers and for carers — especially women seeking flexible hours and meaningful leadership — who want to protect staff time, improve patient pathways and support clinical teams to innovate. ESNEFT offers a strong learning and wellbeing culture, generous pension, unsocial hours pay (where applicable), 27 days’ annual leave on commencement (pro rata) and a range of staff development opportunities as the Trust embeds a new Epic electronic patient record.
