Put your electrical skills to vital use across King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, based at Orpington Hospital (BR6 9JU) with work across several satellite sites. This permanent, full‑time Band 4 position (Agenda for Change) pays £33,094–£36,195 pa inc HCA and involves planned and reactive maintenance, installation and repair of electrical systems, plant and associated services, plus participation on an emergency on‑call rota (must be able to respond to site within 45 minutes). You’ll diagnose faults on electrical distribution, compressors and vacuum plant, work from drawings and specifications, undertake small capital and improvement works, use hand and power tools safely, support other trades, and travel between sites (full, clean UK driving licence required).

This role suits qualified electricians with a recognised engineering apprenticeship or NVQ3/City & Guilds and an 18th Edition certificate who enjoy fault‑finding, practical problem solving and working collaboratively in a busy NHS environment.
